You'll be only a 6-minute walk from the Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall and about 25 minutes' walk from the old Hida-sannogu hie shrine. Places of worship to visit a short way from the Murasaki Takayama include the Shingon - sect Hida Kokubunji Buddhist Temple.
